Friday 24th November 2017 is Black Friday and with the biggest online shopping day comes thousands upon thousands of discounts for bargain hunters. Anyone looking for a Black Friday drone deal will be in their element as there will be plenty of deals to be had. It is quickly followed by Cyber Monday of course and we will also be keeping you updated for that massive online shopping day.

Where To Get The Best Black Friday Deals For Drones

Drones are still relatively new technology but 2017 has seen them become way more mainstream than even last year and they will be one of the biggest tech gifts in the run up to Christmas.

Whilst we don’t have a massive amount of information on past Black Friday drone deals we do know which retailers are likely to be offering the biggest discounts.

Amazon

Traditionally, Amazon goes much bigger with their discounts on their Prime Day but don’t worry, they will also be featuring some massive discounts on Black Friday and Cyber Monday which they will most likely feature all weekend.

Amazon are well known for rewarding their Prime customers with early access to savings so be sure to get your Prime membership ahead of Black Friday – you can even claim a free 30 day trial. They are also well known for releasing new discounted products gradually over the weekend so if you are working and worried you might miss the biggest sales you can keep checking back through the weekend.

Amazon usually over massive discounts on their own technology so you can expect reductions on things like Amazon Echo and Kindles but they do also over discounts on third party products. We have featured plenty of our drones on Amazon and they already have some of the best deals so we will be updating you here of the latest offers as we get closer to the day.

DJI

The world’s number one drone manufacturer is of course getting in on the action and they have put all their offers in this one easy to read page. With Black Friday deals on DJI Mavic Pro, Phantom 4 Pro, Spark and a lot more besides it is worth heading over to see what deals you can pick up. The deals have started on 22nd November and will close on November 27th.

John Lewis

The department store has a track record of having some of the biggest Black Friday discounts online and we will definitely see more this year. They usually start their promotions early with November 25th 2017 likely to be the day when they announce their offers.

Currys PC World

Currys PC World are well known for their Black Friday Sales with price drops generally being seen from 6am on the day itself. Discounts are available online and also at their stores across the UK with people being known to queue over night to bag the biggest savings.

They usually have discounts on TV’s, computers, domestic appliances and last year they had discounts on a range of smaller entertainment products – hopefully 2017 will see some drones being added to their big discounts.

TomTop

TomTop offers some of the best prices on drones all year round and although some people are put off the shipping times from China they do also ship some products from the UK and USA and you can easily select your shipping options when purchasing.

We will be adding to this list as we get nearer to 26th November 2017 but for now we will show you our favourite drones that are already heavily discounted.

U818A FPV Drone – Our Top Drone Under £100

Already discounted by 28%, the U818A FPV Drone is one of our all time favourites. It has just about as much as you could expect for a sub £80 drone and can even be bought for less if you go down the refurbished route.

With a 720p HD camera that can be used for FPV when you connect a smartphone to it through Wi-Fi, a decent controller and a spare battery to double your 7-9 minutes of flying time, this is about as much fun as drones get.

One touch flips and 3D stunts are available as well cool LED lights and headless mode for even easier piloting. It remains to be seen where this drone will have a further reduction before Christmas but if not, you can do no wrong buying at this price.

Parrot AR Drone 2.0 Elite Edition – Our Top Drone Under £200

This is another favourite of ours and this in the league of Black Friday savings at less than half price. Coming in at just shy of £120 the Parrot AR Drone 2.0 usually retails at well over £200 and this takes budget drones to a whole new level. If there is a further reduction on this then you might want to buy more than one!

Featuring an excellent 720p HD camera on board that streams direct to your smartphone, the AR Drone 2.0 is excellent when synced with the Parrot App as it also allows you to post your images and videos direct to social media accounts – not only does this allow you to share your moments instantly but it also means you don’t need to fill up your storage space – pretty neat right?

There is no controller with the AR Drone 2.0 so you do need to use the app. Luckily, the app is compatible with almost all operating systems including Android, iOS and Kindle Fire, HD and HDX.

Flight time of this drone is around 12 minutes when using the camera and flying around but extra batteries are available and this is just so much fun!
